A slowing metabolism results in EVERYTHING declining. In simple terms, your metabolism is the speed at which things work.
A slow metabolism will lead to quicker weight gain, older looking skin, aches and pains, feeling sluggish etc
Your metabolism is the rate at which your body burns calories. We all know people who can eat loads n never gain weight... this is blessed genetics... but for you, you may only have to look at a cream cake and your waist expands.
As we get older, our metabolism slows down.

A slower metabolism leads to weight gain... fat can accumulate on the surface called subcutaneous fat (this is easily visible) and causes inflammation on our bodies. Inflammation is the root of many ailments.
Visceral fat is the internal fat coating our organs and inflames them, making it even more dangerous. Some people are skinny fat. Skinny fat people may look healthy but constantly don't feel well or look old.
To get our metabolism up and get rid of the fat, we are going to use tried and tested methods. This will increase your metabolism, reduce fat, and reduce inflammation. The methods are not drastic but easily maintainable... who wants to constantly fight big battles when small daily wins are all it takes.
We will use methods to get your metabolism fired up, that work - RESISTANCE TRAINING, STEADY STATE CARDIO, CORRECT DIET.
They are all important but resistance training is KING every time. Going for a jog or a long walk will reduce weight but it will hardly build muscle. If you only diet then you will lose weight, but again, it doesn't add muscle.
REMEMBER MUSCLE NEEDS CALORIES TO MAINTAIN... FAT DOESN'T. MUSCLE WILL SPEED UP YOUR METABOLISM.
