WHAT LIES BENEATH YOUR SKIN?

If you had a full body scan, what would you see?

 

 

After turning 50 a good few years ago, I’ve lost many family and friends.

 

I lost some who were healthy and fit due to various things.

 

I lost many more which were health related.

 

As we get older, it is so important to keep our bodies moving. When you are younger, the body is more forgiving and it’s easier to recover.

 

The amount of friends who used to work out with me and then for whatever reason, they stopped. They intended to carry on soon. They know that they could get back onto it whenever they wanted to. Their jobs, their families, their lifestyles all got in the way.

 

I then see them many years later, and they have put on so much weight, they look years older and they have lost that spark.

 

They kid themselves that they will start up again, but that rarely happens. In fact, as various conditions set in, there is even more reasons as to why they can’t. Backaches, blood pressure, joint pain etc.

 

All of these symptoms WILL get worse if you don’t start exercising again. Yes, it may hurt at the beginning. You will struggle at the beginning. Your symptoms may get worse at the beginning. But you have to carry on, knowing that you WILL get better.

 

The permanent pain that you WILL be in as you get even more older will be so much greater than the short term pain you will feel when you start exercising again.

 

What if you could take a close look INSIDE your body. Would this kick start you to getting back to health?

 

Have a look at this image which is an internal comparison between a healthy body and an unhealthy body. Take a real close look.

 

 

What are those dark spots?

 

Look at all the excess fat that the heart has to struggle to carry.

 

Look at all the internal fat around the organs.

 

Look at the pressure on the joints.

 

Now let’s take a closer look and see what it all means.

 

 

Take a look in the mirror and see if any of those conditions might in you. In fact, if you are over 50, then you may already know that you have some of these conditions.

 

But what if you look in the mirror and you are not over weight. You might think you are ok and that you don't need to exercise. Well, if you are not exercising, then the fat may be all internal.

The condition is called being skinny fat. This could be even worse, as you may look at yourself and think nothing is wrong.

 

 

Your internal organs are even more important than your leg or arm muscles, yet they are englufed in fat. This is a result of bad diet and lack of exercise too. Instead of the fat gathering elsewhere in the body. it's all built up around your internal organs, putting immense pressure on them.

 

USE IT OR LOSE IT

 

Our body is the perfect stage for this. If you stop using it, you WILL lose it.

 

In fact, many people use age as an excuse for not having lean muscle tone, but it’s more the fact that they don’t use their muscles.

 

 

Now, your heart, that is also a muscle. The same applies to that.

 

If you keep your heart strong through physical activity, it will become stronger and healthier. If you live a sedentary life, then the heart muscle will also become weak.

 

 

 

It’s always your choice.

 

If you do the things today that will maintain your health and wellbeing

then tomorrow

others who were not willing to do them will wish that they had also.

 

 

 

You don’t have to be super healthy and fit to get started

but

you do have to get started to become healthier and fitter.
